CHS Capital Ranks 11th out of 225 Firms in Top Private Equity Firm Study

CHS Capital ranked 11th out of 225 firms in the 2011 HEC – Dow Jones Private Equity Fitness Ranking™, a study that presents the world’s leading private equity firms in terms of competitive fitness. The study was designed to identify the 20 private equity firms that are best positioned to generate strong performance in the long term. Each firm was evaluated based on past performance and ten empirically validated criteria to generate a score of future competitiveness.

The study initially considered nearly 1,300 private equity firms across the Americas and Europe. The focus was then narrowed to firms with over 20 transactions, $100 million of equity invested and over five years of private equity activity. The resulting 225 firms were carefully evaluated on ten criteria that capture some of the most relevant drivers of value creation, including scale of activity, quality of deal flow, ability to time debt and equity markets and strategic positioning.
